My sleep was really bad before joining Sleep Science Academy and I joined the program at a point of desperation. I had tried absolutely everything. Sleeping tablets, reading, alcohol, marijuana, everything under the sun that people say helps you fall asleep. I was pretty desperate for a solution. Before Sleep Science Academy. I would toss and turn, have extreme anxiety, be up all through the night. I tried different types of supplements, medication and relaxation techniques but nothing would fix my sleep. I was putting too much pressure and stress around sleep and trying to control it. Now I trust my body, I fall asleep quickly and don’t think about sleep during the day. I have less pain from injuries I've gone through, I’m getting more quality sleep, my relationships with others are better, I don’t have as many headaches and I’m less stressed in general. My sleep was not very good. I felt like I got maybe 5 hours of sleep a night. I’d sleep for a few hours, then be up for a few hours before falling back asleep. I didn’t feel good and didn’t feel rested most days. I feel like I tried just about everything. I did all of the supplements, baths, medication, everything except hormone replacement. I realize now why these things I tried didn’t work, because it was really frame of mind. My sleep now is awesome!! I am averaging between 88-91 sleep score. I’m getting solid sleep, I feel so much better. Not only is my sleep better, but going through this program gave me a whole mind shift. I tried drugs and sleeping pills to fix my sleep. I halfheartedly tried meditation. I was forcing sleep. I was pushing it instead of just letting it happen. Sleep was the topic of my life. I told myself over and over that “I’m not going to sleep tonight”, “I don’t sleep well.” And now I don’t even think about sleep. Now I have a great team and great tools. I was having a lot of trouble sleeping. It had gone on for 20 years. I was anxious, restless, and couldn’t seem to calm down before going to bed. I tried medications, supplements, special tinctures, and showers. I tried tons of calming techniques that didn’t seem to work because I didn’t have the mind-body connection that I now have. The other things I tried didn’t work for me because I wasn’t in sync. I stressed out about sleep. I thought about it too much. My sleep now is really good!
